Set
in various locations throughout present day Texas,
this witty fable of
love conquering greed set in the Lone Star State has 30 different characters portrayed by five
actors. Hilarious scenes spin around two sets of mismatched
lovers who meet on the day of their shotgun double
wedding and three generations of outrageous characters
from two feuding families in this musical comedy.

Marisa Cucuzza (Actor
1) last appeared as Kiki in
4th Wall's production of Philemon. Before that, she was
Asaka in Once on This Island and was also seen here at
Westminster Arts Center as Alice Beane with M.O.C. Musical Theater in Titanic
last fall. She holds a BA from Rutgers in Theater and Media
Communications and is attending MSU for her Master’s in English
education. Favorite roles include: Eva Peron in Evita,
Marta in Company, Fastrada in Pippin, Eve in Children
of Eden, Joan in Dames at Sea, Narrator in Joseph and
the Technicolor Dreamcoat, Ariel Moore in Footloose, Sarah
Brown in Guys & Dolls and Daisy Mae in Li’l Abner.

Erin
Edelle (Actor 2) a
Long Island native, knows as much about Texas as Pee-Wee Herman did
when he went looking for the basement of the Alamo.
Regardless, she's thrilled to be part of this wacky little
show. In NYC, Erin has
appeared in the Off-Broadway interactive musical, The Karaoke
Show, Fallen Angel as part of the FringeNYC '06 Festival
(Winner: Oustanding Musical), and Once On This Island (Asaka).
Other past and favorite credits include: Parade (Lucille
Frank), The Who's TOMMY (Mrs. Walker), Bare (Nadia
McConnell), Ragtime (Emma Goldman), Nunsense (Sr. Mary
Hubert), Swing! (Ann Hampton Callway track), among many
others.

Donna DeCicco (Actor
3) was country…when country
wasn’t cool and even remembers when the Tri-State actually had
a country music radio station. She is thrilled to be back on the
4th Wall stage having played Mary Jane in Big River and Dr.
Charlotte in Falsettos. Donna was last seen locally as Vicki in
the Studio Players production of The Full Monty. She has worked
in dinner theatre (Neil's New Yorker, Rainbow Productions, Marion
Dinner Theatre), regional theatre (Carousel Dinner Theatre), tours
(Sandcastle Kids, Cohan Productions), children's theatre (Happy Times
Children's Theatre) and in the New York production of River Divine.
Favorite roles include: Miss Sylvia in The People Garden,
Doatsey Mae in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, April in Company
and Miss Ritter in She Loves Me.

Matt
Burns (Actor 4) appeared at 4th Wall in this season's
M.I.D. Stage production of Heaven Knows as well as last
year's productions of Invisible Fences and Assassins.

Gregory Allen (Actor
5) hails from the Lone Star
State and knew he was destined to do this show since appearing in a
4th grade play as the gambler, Burk Burnett, who won an entire
town in a poker match (and yes...the man named the town after
himself-located on the Texas map near the panhandle). Greg
has worked in NYC (Steppin' Out Rep, The Lark Theatre), regional
theatre (Carousel Music Theatre, Metroplex Arts), dinner theatre
(Rainbow Productions, Marion Dinner Theatre), children's theatre
(Happy Times, Dallas Children's Theatre), tours (Maximillion Prods,
Cohan Prods), television (HBO, NBC) and even as a Teenage Mutant
Turtle in the early 90s. Favorite 4th Wall roles include:
Falsettos (Whizzer), A New Brain (Gordon), and Violet (The
Preacher).

Bob Cline (Director/Choreographer) directed last season’s Assassins for 4th Wall.
Other recent credits include: Titanic and Nunsense for M.O.C., The Full Monty for Studios Players, Crimes
of the Heart, Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy
Dean, Pippin, Into the Woods and To Kill a Mockingbird at the Chatham
Playhouse, and Side Show and Showboat for MOC. Other
favorites directed at 4th Wall include: A New Brain,
Falsettos, Violet, Songs for a New World, Little
Shop of Horrors, Nunsense, Is There Life After High School, Godspell,
and others. In the Daylight, Bob is a casting director in NYC.
There he has helped to populate film, T V, commercials, over 30
national tours, and literally hundreds of regional theatre
productions across the country.
Nights he is not directing shows, he can be found directing
students in one of his three audition classes that he teaches weekly
in NYC, or as a faculty member in Pace University's Musical Theatre
Department.

Judy Stanton (Music
Director) is both a musician and an accountant. Originally
Judy attended Oberlin College in Ohio where she studied piano
performance with Sanford Margolis. She then continued her studies at
the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago, Illinois, under the
tutelage of William Browning. She has been the MD for shows at
Montclair High School and Montclair Kimberley Academy, as well as
being involved in shows at Bloomfield College, Paquanack High
School, Passaic Valley Summer Theatre in Little Falls, and The Arts
Trust in Ramapo. As a
MD and Pianist, Judy has also directed and performed at local New
Jersey community theatres including the Montclair Studio Players
where she is a Board member, Montclair Operetta Club, Nutley Little
Theatre, Gaslamp Players in Glenridge, and Teaneck New Theatre.
This is her first production with 4th Wall, but has worked as
a team with Bob Cline on several shows.

Gwen
Ricks-Spencer
(Production Manager) has been involved in some capacity of every show each season from
producing (Kiss of the Spider Woman) to directing (Heaven
Knows, Invisible Fences, Batboy) to appearing in
shows (most recently Ain't Misbehavin'). She has been
the Executive Director of 4th Wall since 2005 and is a founding
member of the company. She received a Bachelors degree in
Theatre and Government from Smith College (emphasis: Performance and
Light Design) and a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre from the
University of Michigan in Ann Arbor (emphasis: Performance).
She has worked professionally as a performer and now is an Associate
Director in the Office of Public Policy for Ernst & Young in New
York.

Martha
Thalheimer (Stage Manager) serves as the Company Manager for 4th Wall, handling all
aspects of production including coordinator with the arts center
& rehearsal space at our educational wing facility. She is
a Perry Award winning stage manager and has been the resident stage manager for each
4th wall production (Ain’t Misbehavin’, Kiss
of the Spider Woman, Assassins, Invisible Fences, Nine,The
Rink, Heaven Knows, and Philemon) since joining
the organization in 2005. Martha is just as familiar with a power tool as she is a script
filling many capacities on the technical crew with each production
including set build or running the light board. She has previously been extensively involved with
M.O.C. Musical Theatre, having served in various backstage positions from
costumes to props to stage management.
