
Markus Hauck
Music Director - One Hundred Years Into The Heart
Markus Hauck returns to the 4th Wall stage after working for their productions of The Wild Party (music director) and Sweeney Todd (pianist). Other recent music directing credits include Muffin Man at the 2009 NYC Fringe Festival (which was selected for an additional run in the Encores Series), and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at St. John’s University in Queens.
Aside from over 40 productions in musical theater (including a national tour of Irving Berlin’s I Love A Piano), Markus has conducted and/or played for operas, big bands, choirs, rock groups, and various vocal ensembles. He has released two CDs of his own piano compositions, and his music has been featured on nationally syndicated German network radio and on the sampler le classique abstrait published by Universal Music. He is active in the New York City area as a conductor, pianist, and vocal coach. BM Berklee College, MM Boston Conservatory.
